The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, experience in long-term care facilities, and strong communication skills to facilitate resident interactions and documentation.

Job Summary
The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program.
This must be done in accordance with current federal, state, local and corporate standards, regulations, and guidelines to assure that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet the interests and needs of each resident.
The essential functions of this position require the ability to stand and walk very frequently, reach and push/pull very frequently, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
