Key Requirements

  • Paramedic certification from accredited program
  • Associate of Applied Science in Paramedic Studies
  • Three years of Emergency Services experience
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
  • NC-OEMS certification as EMT-P
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year
  • Critical care certificate (preferred)
  • National Registry Paramedic certification (preferred)
