Job Summary

  • Under the general supervision of the Electric Director, General foreman and the crew foreman, this role performs complex work in the construction, operation, maintenance and repairs of power and lighting distribution systems.
  • The incumbent exercises independent decision making in accomplishing specific assignments and works under the general supervision of the Crew Chief, spending much of the time training or instructing apprentice linemen.
  • The foreman is responsible for the safety of everyone on his crew and is responsible for the conduct of everyone on his crew, ensuring jobs are completed in a timely, safe, effective manner.
