The Sonographer performs sonography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail and performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity to apply prescribed sonography for diagnosis.
Core Job Responsibilities include verifying physician’s orders, explaining tests to patients, instructing patients, assessing patient pain, performing all aspects of patient care, selecting transducers, adjusting equipment, entering test data, performing quality control checks, and scheduling patients.
