Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Basic computer knowledge and skills
Ability to read gas meters accurately
Frequent travel to customer premises
Use of hand tools such as meter key
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving
Ability to work independently and in teams
Safety sensitive role with background checks
Nice-to-have
Bilingual Spanish skills
Good mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of safety procedures
Ability to use mapping technologies
Effective verbal and written communication
Ability to balance and prioritize workload
Key Requirements
0-2 years related experience or equivalent certification
Ability to pass background screenings including driving record and drug testing
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Knowledge of company credit policies and NC Utilities Commission rules
Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
Must be able to work in varying weather conditions
