Job Summary

  • The Mental Health Associate II is responsible for providing a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment while providing direct observation for an assigned patient experiencing confusion, suicidal ideation, or other psychiatric condition requiring close supervision.
  • Observes assigned patient, maintaining a direct line of vision to the patient at all times and communicates unusual occurrences immediately to the nurse responsible for the patient.
  • This position is for Deaconess Hospital MHA II Float Pool. Will provide 1:1 sitter care for all units as needed.
