Job Summary

  • The Regional Program Delivery Advisor role is pivotal in strengthening the quality and effectiveness of program delivery across the West and Central Africa Region (WACAR), providing strategic support to country programs and multi-country project leads.
  • This position will work closely with Country project leads, Regional Technical Leads, the Director of Awards Management, RPAS team, and regional finance team, as well as the Delivery Support Deputy Director at HQ level to pilot new approaches, enhance adaptive management practices, and ensure excellence in project implementation.
  • The IRC has been present in the West and Central Africa region (WACAR) since the 1990s and is currently operating in Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon & CAR, Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Mali, Niger and Nigeria.

Key Requirements

  • Master's Degree in a relevant field
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in humanitarian/development sector

  • Experience with program monitoring systems and dashboards (OTIS, Power BI, or similar preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
