Job Summary

  • Plans, supervises, and participates in skilled construction, maintenance and repair work of buildings, playground facilities, residences, the equipment housed therein and other structures requiring several building trades such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, masonry, electrical, and sheet metal work.
  • Checks and inspects buildings, structures, equipment, and facilities to determine maintenance and construction needs.
  • Supervises and participates in the repairing, replacing, installing or construction of floors, windows, partitions, doors, locks, roofs, fences, gates, walks, driveways, foundations, sprinkler systems, gaskets, washers, electrical and plumbing fixtures, cabinets, shelves, forms for concrete, etc.
