Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5 years of security or public safety experience
  • Illinois Firearm Control Card (FCC) required
  • Conducted Energy Weapon (TASER) certification within 90 days
  • Stop the Bleed Certification within 1 year
  • State of Illinois 20-hour Basic Security Officer course
  • Valid driver's license required
