Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct services and implement a therapeutic behavior management system for children displaying aggressive or explosive behaviors.

  • CPR certification required prior to care
  • Nurse Aide I or II listing required
  • Pass pre-employment CPI Physical Requirements Testing

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in Re-education program
  • Ability to establish rapport respectfully
  • Experience with children having mental disabilities
  • Cross-trained in educational and mental health disciplines

Key Requirements

  • Associate's degree in human services OR High School diploma plus 2 years experience
  • CPR certification required
  • Listing as Nurse Aide I or II by NC Division of Health Service Regulation
  • Pass pre-employment drug testing and criminal background check
  • Must pass CPI Physical Requirements Testing
