Job Summary

  • The Senior Director, Compensation & Global Mobility will report to the VP, Compensation and serve as a strategic partner to the Newsroom and the Masthead of The Times, supporting all global editorial and journalistic functions.
  • This role is responsible for driving the strategic design, operational excellence, and holistic governance of all compensation programs for the Newsroom, Opinion, and Wirecutter at The New York Times.
  • In addition to a newsroom-specific compensation strategy, you will lead the Global Mobility function, managing a team of four to support all international transfers and expatriates.
