Ramboll is seeking experienced Station Control and Protection Engineers to join their Power Systems Department in Barcelona, Spain, to contribute to large infrastructure projects and the green transition. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly in control and protection systems for substations and HV/MV networks.

Job Summary
This role offers the opportunity to work on some of the largest infrastructure projects in Europe while contributing to the green transition.
Engineers will develop control philosophies and protection schemes for substations ranging from 30–400 kV, including converter-based systems like HVDC and STATCOM.
The position involves full project lifecycle engagement from concept development and system studies through detailed design, testing, and hands-on commissioning.

PSCAD and MATLAB/Simulink modeling
FAT and SAT commissioning testing

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Strong experience in plant control systems
