Must-have
Assess resident nutrition status annually
Develop individualized nutrition plans of care
Document care in compliance with regulatory standards
Provide nutrition counseling to families and caregivers
Participate in interdisciplinary care teams and committees
Review and approve seasonal therapeutic menus
Oversee restorative feeding and enteral nutrition programs
Nice-to-have
Strong critical thinking and time management skills
Experience in gerontology or rehabilitation settings
Knowledge of cultural and religious dietary needs
Commitment to organization values of ethics and integrity
Proficiency with Synergy and Point Click Care systems
Key Requirements
University degree in Food and Nutrition from approved university
Current registration in applicable province's College of Dietitians
Membership in Dietitians of Canada and Gerontology Network
1-2 years experience in gerontology or long-term care (asset)
Complete Vulnerable Sector Check within six months
