  • Develop individualized nutrition plans of care
  • Document care in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Provide nutrition counseling to families and caregivers
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care teams and committees
  • Review and approve seasonal therapeutic menus
  • Oversee restorative feeding and enteral nutrition programs

Key Requirements

  • University degree in Food and Nutrition from approved university
  • Current registration in applicable province's College of Dietitians
  • Membership in Dietitians of Canada and Gerontology Network
  • 1-2 years experience in gerontology or long-term care (asset)
  • Complete Vulnerable Sector Check within six months
