The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring process quality, defect prevention, and compliance across Surface Mount Technology (SMT)–based manufacturing and assembly operations.
Key responsibilities include owning end-to-end quality performance for SMT lines, implementing process controls, driving defect prevention, and managing non-conformances.
The role also involves supporting new product introduction, analyzing quality metrics, ensuring compliance with standards like ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, and training shop floor personnel.
