IQVIA is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to provide technical and general accounting services in alignment with finance SOPs and US GAAP. The role involves responsibilities such as supporting month-end processes, managing fixed asset transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal controls

Job Summary

  • Provide technical and general accounting services in accordance with IQVIA Finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley rules and financial reporting requirements of the business unit.
  • Support month end process within deadlines and instructions, take responsibility for processing of ad hoc transaction in Fixed Asset Register, and book regular monthly journals and ad hoc adjustments as required.
  • Ensure appropriate communication with all business partners and support business partners in financial decisions, if required, and maintain and improve technical accounting skills.
