Job Summary

  • The Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative acts as the primary customer contact and is responsible for implementing marketing strategy and promoting Amgen products as led by the District Manager.

Salary

Base: $133,984 – $163,785 (Specialty Rep); Base: $136,587 - $165,975 (Senior Specialty Rep); Bonus/Equity: Discretionary annual bonus program or sales-based incentive plan, Stock-based long-term incentives; Benefits: Comprehensive employee benefits package including Retirement and Savings Plan, group medical, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience (Specialty Rep)
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related (Senior Specialty Rep)
  • Three or more years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry
  • Product or hospital sales experience in specific therapeutic areas
