Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Minimum 10 years submariner experience
  • Qualified Acoustic Warfare Analyst certification
  • Expertise in USN/RAN/RN submarine operations
  • Towed array operation analysis skills
  • Broadband and narrowband spectral analysis

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with oceanography prediction tools
  • Strong stakeholder engagement at senior levels
  • Understanding of complex real-time military systems
  • Knowledge of surface ship sonar systems

Key Requirements

  • Must be eligible for Australian Government Defence security clearance
  • Minimum 10 years' experience as a submariner
  • Specialisation in sonar operations on USN/RAN/RN submarines
  • Qualified Acoustic Warfare Analyst or equivalent
