The Clinical Lab Assistant performs phlebotomy using various venipuncture techniques to collect blood directly from patients of all ages and is familiar with patient and specimens requirements for these tests.
Completes a variety of clinical support duties involved in identifying, collecting, receiving, and processing all types of clinical specimens for laboratory analysis.
Follows all safety, infection control and OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines.
