The ideal candidate will have extensive management experience in the long-term care sector and a strong focus on training and quality improvement. **

Job Summary

  • The Regional Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery and sustainability of Programs, Training & Development and Quality within the Long Term Care homes, as well as the implementation and sharing of policies/programs.
  • Key responsibilities include supporting professional practice, coaching and mentoring leadership teams, promoting compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensuring effective operation and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) of homes.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years senior management experience in Long Term Care
  • Familiarity with using data to drive decisions
  • Experience in gerontology/CQI/research/adult learning/change management
  • Strong knowledge of RAI-MDS
  • Ability to facilitate learning for others
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to reason, think analytically and conceptually
  • Valid driver’s license
