Job Summary
Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient, referring and questioning orders to the Radiologist before performing the exam.
Prepares and administers IV contrast according to departmental protocols, evaluating technical quality of images and consulting with a Radiologist if needed.
Operates radiology computer system to include entering orders and charging procedures/supplies, and documents contrast administration in the MAR.
