The State of Georgia is seeking a part-time Lab Assistant for its Diesel Heavy Equipment Technology program, responsible for supporting faculty in lab activities, maintaining equipment, and assisting students. Job Summary

  • Under direct supervision of faculty members, the lab assistant performs routine, standardized diesel laboratory work requiring close attention to detailed procedures.
  • Duties include but are not limited to assisting faculty members with classroom instruction, adherence to safety procedures, and other miscellaneous tasks related to instruction; tutoring or mentoring students; cleaning labs as needed; and obtaining materials needed for classes, including texts and other materials.
  • All lab positions are part-time, temporary positions offered on a per-semester basis based on the needs of the college.
