Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to oversee safety compliance and environmental regulations for its operations in the Greater Seattle Area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in EHS within an aerospace or manufacturing environment and a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement

Job Summary

  • Manage EHS professionals in accomplishment of organizational goals and implement EHS programs for hazard evaluation and control.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety, health, and environmental regulations at all Washington facilities.
  • Develop, update, and deliver EHS training and serve as site focal point for safety and environmental issues and concerns.

Key Requirements

  • B.S. degree in engineering, chemistry, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or occupational safety
  • 8+ years total work in EHS
  • 5+ years work experience in operational aerospace environment, manufacturing, or chemical industry
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA and State of Washington regulations
  • Ability to lift/carry up to fifty pounds, climb multiple flights of stairs, withstand prolonged standing, and work in adverse weather conditions
