Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking a Sr Safety & Health Specialist to support its Safety and Health Management System at a designated location. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Safety or a related field and a minimum of three years of relevant experience in the construction or applicable industry

Job Summary

  • The position is responsible for supporting in the administration of the Company’s Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) and the corresponding regulations that relate to the safety of our work, for an assigned location in a manner consistent with the code of conduct.
  • Perform and document inspections, observations and audits to reduce incidents and ensure health and the well-being of our employees.
  • Granite provides a 100% match on the first 6% of eligible compensation that salaried employees defer into their 401(k) plans, which vests immediately.
