Must-have

  • CHO genomics and biologics/vaccine
  • Next Generation Sequencing applications
  • bioinformatic analysis of biomanufacturing
  • genetic characterization, stability, integration site analysis, transcriptomics
  • computational approaches and pipelines
  • version control tools such as git
  • Unix/Linux OS experience and Bash scripting

Nice-to-have

  • collaboration, organization, and communication skills
  • metabolic modeling in CHO cells
  • sequencing-based diagnostics
  • GxP or GMP environments
  • bench methods

Key Requirements

  • Ph.D. in biology, bioinformatics or related
  • M.S. with a minimum of 4+ years experience
  • B.S. with a minimum of 7+ years experience
  • Experience with CHO genome assembly, transcriptomics and comparative genomics
  • Strong programming experience (e.g. R, Python, Nextflow, etc.)
  • Experience working in high performance computing and cloud environments
  • Strong background with computational methods in one or more NGS methods and technologies
