Job Summary

  • Perform entry and journeyman level maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of airport mechanical and electrical systems, operate heavy equipment, and safely work on active runways and taxiways.
  • Responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing all areas of Amarillo International Airport, including the airfield operation, terminal building, and landside operation.
  • Must be able to be trained and qualified to drive on an active airfield within 60 days of employment and be able to pass recurrent training every 12 months.
