Job Summary
It’s the mission of the NC Department of Transportation to connect people, products and places safely and efficiently with customer focus, accountability, and environmental sensitivity to enhance the economy and vitality of North Carolina.
This position involves maintenance and installation of ground mounted signs including TODS and Adopt-A-Highway signs, assisting paint crews, and operating various tools and equipment.
The employee must be able to work outdoors year-round in extreme heat and cold and be subject to emergency callback for detours and inclement weather such as snow and ice removal.
