Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Overhead Line (OHL) Engineer – High Voltage Transmission to join our growing Transmission & Distribution team, supporting major transmission infrastructure and energy transition projects.
  • In this role, you will contribute to the design and delivery of overhead transmission line systems, typically ranging from 110kV to 400kV+, supporting projects from feasibility and concept development through detailed design and construction support.

Must-have

  • PLS-CADD modelling
  • Sag–tension calculations
  • Conductor and earth wire selection
  • Clearance verification

Nice-to-have

  • Working on UK transmission projects
  • Exposure to National Grid standards
  • Site engineering activities

Key Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering
  • Experience with PLS-TOWER / PLS-POLE
