Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • Ultrasound-guided vascular access insertion
  • PICC and Central Venous Catheter (CVC) expertise
  • Night shift availability (6pm-6:30am)
  • Sterile field maintenance protocols

Nice-to-have

  • CPUI and VA-BC certifications preferred
  • Interdisciplinary rounding experience
  • Quality improvement initiative participation
  • Staff training and orientation skills

Key Requirements

  • Associate or technical degree required
  • Current RRT license from NBRC
  • 4 years clinical experience as RRT
  • 1 year independent PICC/CVC insertion experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Completion of Banner Health Sims Lab training
