Must-have

  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of telecommunications equipment
  • Optical, electrical, and power testing
  • SONET, TDM, DWDM, IP, or Ethernet based equipment
  • Fiber optic patch cord installation and testing
  • Site surveys for construction requirements
  • Preventative and demand maintenance of network infrastructure

Nice-to-have

  • Familiarity with major equipment manufacturers
  • Knowledge of critical infrastructure
  • ISP/OSP knowledge
  • Deductive reasoning skills for network improvement
  • Ability to work in various environments and weather conditions

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years Telecom Field experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check
  • Ability to pass background check requirements
