Must-have

  • Knowledge of Federal Animal Welfare Act
  • Experience with US Public Health Service Policy
  • Understanding of Guide for Care and Use of Laboratory Animals
  • Ability to draft IACUC policies and SOPs
  • Conducting inspections and audits of animal facilities

Nice-to-have

  • LATG or CMAR certification preferred
  • Certified Professional IACUC Administrator credential
  • Experience supervising laboratory animal facilities
  • Familiarity with AAALAC accreditation standards
  • Experience with nontraditional laboratory animals

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Three years of experience directly related to specialty area
  • LATG or CMAR certification (Preferred)
  • US citizenship or lawful authorized status required
  • Not eligible for work visa sponsorship
