Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Five to eight years engineering experience
Three to five years protective relaying or SCADA experience
Experience with electric utility transmission and distribution systems
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
Nice-to-have
Positive attitude and priority for safe operations
Agility to switch between tasks as field support needed
Strong substation P&C troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of NERC reliability standards PRC and CIP
Experience in design and testing of substation equipment
Key Requirements
ABET accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineering License (Preferred)
Experience with short circuit modeling software like ASPEN OneLiner
Knowledge of DNP3, ModBus, and SEL protocols
Familiarity with SEL and GE relays and associated software
