  • Support and staff the Charter Review Committee (CRC) in its work to study the County charter and develop recommended changes for voter approval.
  • Coordinate a comprehensive outreach plan to recruit a diverse pool of candidates reflecting the criteria for selection of members and the core competencies required.
  • Develop a community engagement plan to keep the public apprised of the charter review process and progress; to solicit ideas for potential charter changes; and get feedback on CRC recommendations.
