Job Summary
It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
The cook must maintain the kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner while preparing tasteful meals and special diets accurately.
The role involves supervising dietary staff when necessary and reporting resident care concerns to the Administrator and/or Director of Nurses.
