Job Summary
The Public Safety Officer patrols assigned areas to identify and respond to unsafe conditions and emergencies, and answers calls for service pertaining to unauthorized or illegal activity.
Officers are required to exhibit customer excellence at all times and model the VH mission, vision and values, while documenting all rounds and writing necessary reports.

Key Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
One year of previous experience preferred
Valid driver’s license required
BLS Certification required
International Association for Healthcare Public Safety and Safety Basic Exam within 1 year required
ASP baton, Handcuff, OC Foam Spray and aggression management training within 6 months required
