The North Carolina Department of Commerce is seeking two Nc Workforce Credentials Fellows to support workforce development initiatives aimed at improving accessibility and quality for targeted populations. These full-time, hybrid positions involve collaboration with various stakeholders to implement strategies, manage credentials, and prepare reports for the Governor

Job Summary

  • These positions will address both issues of quality and accessibility of the target populations, in the strategy development phase, evidence-based strategies with known efficacy, and in particular, proven effectiveness for the target populations.
  • The fellow works alongside Council leadership and staff to implement strategies, the fellow will support fidelity of implementation and ensure that those target populations are able to access the implemented strategies in a way that is relevant for their context and/or specific needs and provides quality outcomes.
  • North Carolina State Health Plan administered by Aetna, NC State Retirement (TSERS), 401(k), and 457 savings plans, and eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program are among the benefits offered.
