Job Summary

  • This is a rare senior opportunity to lead high-profile surfacing works across the region, with full accountability for the overall leadership, performance and growth of the surfacing division.
  • You will oversee the sealing, paving and slurry departments and coordinate all Department Managers, engineers, supervisors, site foremen, employees, plant resources and subcontractors across a mix of large and smaller projects.

Key Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or significant industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of NZS3910, NZS3910 and NZS3917 Contracts
  • Strong knowledge of DCC, NZTA and other local authority management processes
  • Proven experience delivering surfacing projects
  • Proven experience in pricing, tendering and winning work
  • Strong understanding of New Zealand health and safety and environmental standards
