Homestead Post Acute is seeking a part-time LPN to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in a long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will have a valid LPN license, possess strong leadership and nursing skills, and demonstrate a commitment to quality care
Job Summary
The primary purpose of your job position is to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
Administer professional services such as; catheterization, tube feedings, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy, and drainage bags, taking blood, giving massages and range of motion exercises, care for the dead/dying, etc., as required.
Ensure that all nursing assistants are enrolled in or have graduated from an approved nursing assistant training program.
