1 year ER/OP experience OR 2 years call center
4 years department experience with professional development
Basic typing at 45 WPM and ten key skills
Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality requirements
Nice-to-have
Medical Terminology knowledge preferred
CPT and ICD-10 coding experience strongly preferred
Ability to resolve patient financial issues
Experience with multiple computer applications
Composure under high volume deadlines
