Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, performs a wide variety of technical and clinical and/or clerical duties to support the hospital wide unit-dose drug distribution system and intravenous admixture program.
Responsibilities include delivering medications, completing order entry, processing charges, answering phones, filling patient orders, preparing IV admixtures, and maintaining pharmacy inventory.
Requires a Highschool diploma/GED, registration as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, and Pharmacy Technician Certification within 24 months of hire.
