The University of Arkansas at Monticello is seeking a Workforce Education Instructor for their Emergency Medical Technology program, responsible for coordinating and teaching courses while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. The ideal candidate should have a background in EMS, teaching experience, and a current paramedic license
Job Summary
Primary duties include serving as the EMS Program Director and Lead Instructor, coordinating and supervising all EMS program courses to ensure compliance with accreditation and ARDEMS regulations.
The instructor will teach EMS, NAEMT, and AHA classes and coordinate all EMS and AHA continuing education courses.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining clinical affiliate agreements, coordinating with the Advisory Committee, preparing regulatory reports, and teaching evening classes.

Key Requirements
Arkansas Certified Paramedic Instructor
Nationally Registered Paramedic
current, unencumbered paramedic license
2 years' experience (3-5 years preferred)
Documented education or experience in instructional methodology
Experience with National Registry Standards and accreditation processes preferred
