The primary purpose of this position is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician under the direction of nursing supervisors.
Employees must accurately prepare, administer, and document oral and/or topical medications while verifying resident identity and observing ingestion.
Staff are required to participate in quality assurance programs and cooperate with government agency surveys to ensure medication process accuracy.
