Blue Origin is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Engineer III for its Space Coast, FL location to support EHS compliance and safety culture within aerospace operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in safety and environmental regulations, particularly within aerospace, and be passionate about promoting safety in a collaborative environment

Job Summary

  • This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight.
  • Develop and maintain compliance with the Blue Origin Environmental Health and Safety Manual and all applicable regulations and/or guidelines established by OSHA, NFPA and NIOSH and other applicable government regulatory agencies.
  • Provide EHS support with test and launch operations and oversee PSM activities for all hazardous commodities.

Key Requirements

  • Proven industry specific EHS experience in aerospace operations
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws/environmental, health and safety regulatory compliance
  • Knowledge of Process Safety Management methods
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S.
