Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for inspecting a variety of waste disposal and treatment facilities, including municipal waste disposal sites, demolition waste landfills, sewage sludge disposal locations, agricultural waste sites, and industrial waste treatment operations.
  • The Solid Waste Specialist also investigates waste-related complaints, evaluates disposal practices, and ensures compliance with relevant environmental regulations to protect public health, natural resources, and surrounding communities.
