Job Summary

  • The Production Assistant is responsible for learning Computer Graphics and Audio, for the purposes of filling in on either position.
  • Trains on, and is able to competently run, the Xpression graphics program, as well as production audio, during live news broadcasts.
  • The Production Assistant must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time, reach, climb, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work in close proximity to others, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
