Job Summary

  • The NC Department of Transportation connects people, products and places safely and efficiently with customer focus, accountability, and environmental sensitivity to enhance the economy and vitality of North Carolina.
  • This position will perform a wide range of progressively responsible maintenance tasks in the preventive maintenance, repair and construction of State maintained roads.
  • Work includes operating various equipment, responding to emergencies such as snow and ice removal, and monitoring tasks performed by inmates and other transportation workers.
