Job Summary

  • The position holder is accountable for leading and managing the Fabrication Technical Shopfloor Support Team to deliver in a timely manner from EQN management, DQN Management, QN Management, MOD Management, Process update Management and external resource Management.
  • There will also be a focus on identifying improvements to the current industrial system and setup within the Fabrication plant and promoting an environment where continuous improvement is recognised and implemented.
  • The successful candidate will gain significant exposure to a range of plant strategic topics and will have the opportunity to interact with senior internal and external stakeholders as well as gaining operations experience in an industrial environment.

Key Requirements

  • 8+ years relevant engineering experience
  • Manufacturing or Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering background
  • Lean manufacturing principles knowledge
  • Metallic and composite manufacturing knowledge
  • Business management systems (BMS) knowledge
  • Quality management systems (QMS) knowledge
  • Manufacturing engineering tool sets working knowledge
  • Engineering qualification from accredited program
