Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • One year training or experience
  • Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology Program
  • Maintain sterile field during surgery
  • BLS certification required
  • 4 10-hour shifts per week

Nice-to-have

  • Orthopedic trauma and spine experience preferred
  • New Jersey State CEs maintenance
  • Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
  • On-call availability required

Key Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program
  • Current BLS certification
  • Maintenance of New Jersey State required 15 CEs per year
  • Preferred: Orthopedic, Trauma, and Spine experience
