Job Summary

  • This position is responsible for conducting Parks patrols and achieving compliance with the Capital Regional District Parks Bylaw.
  • Uses enforcement action; including use of force and arrests; only when necessary and as outlined by CRD Policy.
  • Creates books of evidence and prosecutes disputed municipal ticket they have issued.

Salary

$34.87 - $37.16 per hour plus 15% in lieu of vacation and benefits

Key Requirements

  • High School Graduation
  • Bylaw enforcement and/or auxiliary or reserve constable training
  • 2 years' directly related experience
  • Acceptable criminal record check
  • Use of Force Certification (ASP Expandable Baton, OC Spray)
  • Valid BC Driver's Licence
  • Basic First Aid (OFA 1)
