Job Summary

  • This position will provide physician input into the decisions made at the Executive Team level and play a leadership role in all initiatives that impact patient care, patient safety, and the practice of medicine in the hospital.
  • Essential duties include dealing directly with disruptive physician behavior, serving as an administrative liaison to various quality and safety committees, and facilitating the creation and implementation of a physician leadership development program.
  • The role requires executive oversight of credentialing, privilege processes, and the development of Medical Staff Bylaws, while also working closely with IT on CPOE implementation and assisting in strategic and operational planning.
