Job Summary
Fabricate, assemble, rework, repair, and finish a variety of non-metallic parts, tools, and assemblies to specifications using methods such as layup, foaming, bonding, molding, and drap forming.
Operate mixers, impregnating equipment, heat treaters, curing equipment, formers, presses, and ovens according to established procedures, as well as various cutting equipment for flat pattern cuts of composite materials.
Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs and engaging in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.
